Heritage Tour - 04 Days (03 nights)

1st day - Negombo to Sigiriya.

After breakfast travel to sigiriya, visiting Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage on the way, an institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants for many years. You can see elephants that are bathing in the river. After that drive to Dabulla Golden Rock cave temple dating back to the 1st century BC caves including 157 Buddha statues and fascination ceiling paint depicting life time of Buddha. Overnight stay in sigiriya.

2nd day - Tour around Sigiriya.

After an early breakfast around 7.30 drive to Sigiriya Lion Rock which was built by King Kashapa in the 5th century, which is a complex of building parts of the Royal Palace fortified town and most attractive fresco paintings. In the afternoon jeep safari in kaudulla or minneriya national park (best place to see big number of wild elephant). Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

3rd day - Sigiriya to Kandy.

After breakfast drive to Kandy via Mathale visiting Mathale Hindu temple and Mathale Aluwiharaya Temple which is the historic location where the Pali Canon was first written down completely in text on Ola (palm) leaves. Aluwiharaya has numerous monastery caves, some of which exhibit fine frescoes. Then drive to Kandy in the evening see the culture dance show, Overnight stay in Kandy.

4th day - Kandy to Negombo.

After breakfast explore the Kandy city, which has been the center of the Buddhist faith for a long time, the stunning 17th-century Temple of the Tooth, Peradeniya Botanical Garden, which is well known for its large number and variety of plants. Also ornamental and decorative trees, useful for medicine. In total there is more than 4000 species, including indigenous and introduced plants. After that visit tea factory and tea plantation then drive to Negombo.
